Community PurposeComox Valley Community Arts Council and the Muir Gallery what do we do? Our MissionTo animate the arts in the Comox Valley by: acting as a resource for the arts community; informing the public about the arts; and celebrating the Comox Valley as an arts producing centre. Our VisionThe Comox Valley Community Arts Council is working to facilitate and animate arts and culture in the community. Through our involvement in a wide variety of cultural activities, workshops, events, festivals, exhibition spaces, seasonal programs, and support of members groups, we actively educate and promote the Comox Valley as a creative and dynamic arts producing center. Creating CommunitySince 1965, the Comox Valley Community Arts Council has acted as an advocate for emerging arts and culture in the Comox Valley. We serve the community – inviting artists of all kinds to participate in our events and providing support to those who are pursuing higher artistic excellence.
